Nature, color, and inanimate objects resonate with me. They are the driving forces 

of my work. 

I see trees /  water / bark / shells / flowers as sacred. I believe certain inanimate objects incorporate the energy of those who make, use, manipulate, and admire them. Color for me is a magnet. It has its own voice, history, and purpose. Textiles, threads, ribbons, and cord are vital to my work -- anchors of a sort.

Aligning these elements and objects, attaching them, stacking them, and bundling them in new ways brings me joy and a sense of fulfillment. Layering, stitching, hanging, piercing, pulling and tearing are meaningful aspects of my process.
